Executive chef

We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Al Ahmadi As the Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and creating unique dishes as well as extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques Responsibilities - - Manage and oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and plating - Create new menu items and update existing ones based on market trends and customer preferences - Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality of food - Ensure food safety standards are met at all times - Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operations - Collaborate with other departments such as front of house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers - Monitor food costs and make adjustments to menu items as needed - Maintain a clean organized and efficient kitchen environment - Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly Requirements - - At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant - Extensive knowledge of various cuisines cooking techniques and plating styles - Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and handle customer concerns - Ability to manage budgets order supplies and maintain inventory levels efficiently - Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards for food quality and presentation - Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings weekends and holidays if needed Preferred Skills While not required candidates with the following skills will be given preference - Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution - Experience working in international locations or with diverse teams - Ability to speak multiple languages especially Arabic Salary We are offering a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position The final salary will be based on the candidates experience and qualifications Location This position is located in Al Ahmadi Kuwait and is open to candidates of all nationalities who have a valid work permit Accommodation will not be provided for this role Join our team and showcase your culinary skills as our Executive Chef We are committed to providing a positive and inclusive work environment where you can thrive and grow in your career #J-18808-Ljbffr
