Executive chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Bayan catering to Indian clientele. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen including menu planning, food preparation and kitchen staff management. This role requires someone with a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain menus that meet the needs and preferences of Indian guests while also incorporating international cuisine Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and quality Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, hygiene standards and safety procedures Collaborate with other departments such as event planning or guest services to ensure smooth coordination of dining experiences Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new dishes or techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting Maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment at all times Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine as well as international culinary trends Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and communicate with guests Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Preferred Qualifications Degree in Culinary Arts or related field from an accredited institution Experience working in a luxury resort or hotel catering to Indian clientele is highly desirable Knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions is an asset Compensation We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month Applicants must have their own visa and be able to legally work in Bayan. This position is open to all nationalities but knowledge and experience with Indian cuisine will be given preference.
