Position Description Ping Wind is seeking a Voice Systems/Network Engineer Lead responsible for the planning, design, integration, and operational management of Army voice communication systems supporting command and control across tactical and enterprise environments. This role provides senior technical leadership for voice infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and resilient communications for mission‑critical operations. Primary Responsibilities Manage all call routing and set up from the DISA Tier 0 hierarchy down to individual strategic sites. Provide secure and non‑secure voice system/network engineering, integration, and installation services. Plan, implement, and manage the theater voice architecture to include upgrades to Gatekeepers, Voice Gateway Routers (VGR), Cisco Unified Call Managers (CUCM), and Vo IP/Vo SIP firmware across the strategic network. Manage a traditional Defense Switched Network (DSN) network that provides traditional voice T‑1 and SIP trunks terminating at Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) switches, NATO PBXs, and IGX commercial providers. Provide engineering services for the installation and upgrading of voice and data systems/networks. Coordinate with other stakeholders operating in the CENTCOM AOR on behalf of the Government to manage implementation processes applicable to Vo IP, Vo SIP, and POTS, and document and support the engineering transition from traditional switches POTS to Vo IP and Vo SIP. Provide engineering expertise in meeting and sustaining USARCENT requirements for installation, operation, maintenance, and protection (IOMP) of voice systems/networks. Required Qualifications Secret clearance required. Do D 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III with a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration certification or higher. High school diploma or GED. Minimum five years of experience in a strategic Do D position engineering IT solutions for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN‑X. Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree.
