A high‑end bakery in Hawalli is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in a professional kitchen with a strong focus on pastry and dessert preparation. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating unique and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts for our bakery's menu. You will also be in charge of managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The successful candidate must have excellent time‑management skills as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred but not required. This position offers a competitive salary of $1100 per month and the opportunity to work with a talented team in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Create delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts according to our bakery's menu Ensure consistent quality by following proper recipes and portion control Maintain inventory levels by ordering supplies as needed Keep track of food costs and provide input on menu pricing Train new staff members on pastry techniques and recipes Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or seasonal specials Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients Experience creating unique and visually appealing desserts Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent time‑management skills Strong communication skills Degree or certification in culinary arts or related field preferred but not required Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays We are looking for someone who is passionate about pastry creation, has an eye for detail, and can bring innovative ideas to our bakery.
