As an Operational Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our organization. This includes managing and supervising staff, implementing operational policies and procedures, and ensuring efficient and effective operations across all departments.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Oversee the operational performance of multiple dine-in restaurant brands, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across all locations.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.

Collaborate with other managers and departments to ensure coordination and alignment of goals and objectives.

Manage and control operational budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.

Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that may arise in a timely and effective manner.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Preferred Candidate:

A minimum of 5 years of management experience in multi-unit, multi-brand restaurant operations.

Short-Term Goals:

Within the first 3 to 6 months of tenure, the Operations Manager will be expected to focus on the following key short-term goals:

Menu Engineering: Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the current menus across all brands to identify opportunities for optimization. This includes enhancing menu design, item profitability, and customer appeal, with the goal of increasing average order value and customer satisfaction.

Reducing COGS (Cost of Goods Sold): Implement strategies to lower COGS without compromising on quality. This may involve negotiating better terms with suppliers, reducing waste, and optimizing inventory management practices. The objective is to improve the gross margin across all restaurant brands.

Increasing Sales: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive revenue growth. This could involve promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and leveraging data analytics to understand customer preferences and trends to tailor offerings accordingly.

Opening a New Brand: Oversee the final preparations and successful launch of a new restaurant brand that is nearing completion. This includes operational setup, staff recruitment and training, menu finalization, and marketing initiatives to ensure a successful and impactful market entry.

The Operations Manager will be required to work closely with various teams to achieve these goals, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
