We are urgently looking for a Supply Chain Manager, currently based in Kuwait and with a transferable visa.
Education, Experience & Skills Required:
Engineering or Supply Chain / Procurement / Commercial related qualifications preferred but technical degrees with further tertiary studies of supply chain / procurement will also be considered.
At least 2 years SCM related experience.
Strong commercial understanding and experience in driving down cost and identifying cost saving opportunities, with a track record of delivering total cost savings
Analytical, numerate, able to develop models and solve problems.
Holds excellent negotiating skills and experience.
Demonstrates good communication, persuasion and change management skills
Good facilitation and presentation skills
Experience in strategic sourcing and purchase category management, including understanding supplier or product cost drivers and other factors that influence pricing.
Experience in managing food and packaging categories would be preferable.
Ideally has experience in formal project management
Salary Package Offered: KD1000 pm but negotiable for the right individual
