We are seeking a full-time Help Desk Engineer II professional to work a hybrid schedule, remotely as well as onsite at our clients' locations throughout the Greater Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange County areas. Our company provides Managed IT Services for businesses of all types and sizes located throughout the US that still fosters a family-like company culture. Our customers cover a wide range of industries. Although this is a hybrid/remote opportunity, the ideal candidate will reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the home office in Chatsworth, as the position requires working not only remotely but occasional visits to clients. Our next Help Desk Engineer II should be a dual threat with a strong technical prowess and mid/high-level knowledge of Windows servers and network routers & switches, and a balance between technical and consultative skills.
Requirements
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Processing and completing eligible Desktop, Server, and Network repair tickets
Troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment of Windows 2016-2019
Performing proactive and scheduled maintenance on client computer systems
Management of monitoring systems and alerts, as well as ongoing refinement of alert thresholds
MS Office 365 environments with domain synchronization and migrations including Exchange and SharePoint Online
VMware Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure build-out experience
Management of client Windows Server environments including Active Directory high-level management and Group Policy
Azure AD and Intune experience
Implementation and management of client firewalls and network routing including Cisco Meraki, SonicWALL, and Cisco
Management of client layer 2/3 HPE, Aruba, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Ubiquiti managed network switches (adding and removing VLANs, configuring ports, documenting all changes)
Active Directory: Expert or high level not only reset password/create users
Group Policy objects: Create, troubleshoot, modify
Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) Systems: N-able, Datto, ConnectWise, Kaseya
Ticketing Systems: ConnectWise Manage, Autotask
Documentation Platform: IT Glue, Hudu, Passportal
Backup Software and BDR appliances: Troubleshooting configuration, deployment

Must have:
3-5+ years of relevant experience specifically in Server and Network management
A valid driver's license, personal vehicle (for when you need to go see clients), and automobile insurance
An AA or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems desired, but not required
Microsoft Certification or Cisco or SonicWALL certifications are highly encouraged
Prior work experience with a Managed Service Provider
Lives locally in the Los Angeles county or surrounding counties within Southern California
Must reside locally - this is NOT a 100% remote position but a hybrid position that requires working at Chatsworth office and client onsite visits occasionally
