Job Description

A luxury hotel in Al-Kuwait is seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef to join our team As a Pastry Chef you will be responsible for creating and executing delectable desserts and pastries for our guests The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail Responsibilities Design and create new dessert and pastry menu items Prepare high-quality visually appealing desserts and pastries Train and manage a team of pastry cooks Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Ensure all food safety standards are met Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the pastry department Stay updated on current industry trends and incorporate them into menu offerings Maintain a clean and organized work station Requirements Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role Extensive knowledge of baking techniques and trends Excellent time management skills to meet strict deadlines Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Attention to detail with a focus on presentation of desserts and pastries Knowledge of food safety regulations Ability to stand for long periods of time lift heavy objects and work in hot kitchen conditions Education Experience High school diploma or equivalent required culinary degree preferred but not required Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting Salary $1800month negotiable based on experience Location Al-Kuwait Kuwait local candidates preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
