Delivered in partnership with leading system integrators (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), this role will act as the client-side owner, ensuring successful, high-quality delivery. My client is looking for an experienced Application Project Implementation Manager to lead and govern ERP implementation initiatives delivered by external vendors. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery aligns with scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards while minimizing business disruption. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end project delivery from the client side Manage and govern system integrators (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics partners) Ensure vendor deliverables meet business requirements and contractual commitments Establish and run governance forums (steering committees, reporting, escalations) Lead risk and issue management, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution Oversee quality assurance across all phases (design, build, SIT, UAT) Track project milestones, timelines, and vendor performance Enforce strong change control and scope management Coordinate with business, IT, and leadership stakeholders Oversee data migration, integrations, cutover, and go-live readiness Ensure smooth transition into post-go-live support and vendor handover Required Experience & Skills 8-12+ years of IT experience, with strong client-side project management exposure Proven track record managing ERP implementations delivered by vendors Strong expertise in vendor governance, contract management, and SLA tracking Solid understanding of ERP implementation lifecycles and methodologies Hands‑on experience in risk management, quality assurance, and governance Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership engagement Ability to challenge vendors constructively and drive accountability Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification Experience in large‑scale transformation programs Exposure to cloud ERP platforms (S/4 HANA, Oracle Cloud, Dynamics 365) Understanding of commercial models, contracts, and vendor SLAs Key Competencies Vendor governance & negotiation Risk anticipation and mitigation Strong attention to quality and detail Clear communication and executive reporting Decision‑making in complex environments Please apply to be contacted with further information.
